SmartWork in the spotlight at the Health & Wellbeing Intervention International Conference

The SmartWork project will be one of the initiatives under the spotlight at the upcoming International Congress, ‘Health and Well-being Intervention’, to be held at the University Campus of Viseu of the Piaget Institute, Portugal, from 31 May to 1 June 2019. The Congress will focus on issues related to the health and well-being of the population, with researchers and professionals from different areas of practice and training expected to attend.

Carina Dantas, from SmartWork partner, Cáritas de Coimbra, will present in Session 3 on 1st June on ‘Health and Well-being of an increasingly ageing society’.

Carina’s presentation will focus on ‘Smart Healthy Age-Friendly Environments: policy and implementation’, and will include the SmartWork project as an example of innovation to design smart digital solutions to support older workers to maintain an active professional life, increasing their work ability sustainability, despite the ageing process and potential functional limitations, health conditions or care needs.
